Cooperative Relaying with State Available at the Relay Only
نویسندگان
چکیده
We consider a full-duplex state-dependent relay channel with state non-causally available at only the relay. In the framework of cooperative wireless networks, some specific terminals can be equipped with cognition capabilities, i.e, the relay in our model. In the discrete memoryless (DM) case, we obtain inner and outer bounds on the capacity. The inner bound is obtained by a coding scheme at the relay that uses codeword splitting, Gel’fand-Pinsker coding, and decode-andforward scheme. The outer bound on the capacity is better than that obtained by assuming the availability of state at the source, the destination, and the relay. For the Gaussian case, we also obtain inner and outer bounds on the capacity. The inner bound, obtained by a coding scheme based on combination of codeword splitting and Generalized dirty paper coding, is tight in several cases if the channel is physically degraded. The outer bound is also better than that obtained by assuming the channel state available at the source, the relay, and the destination.

Performance Analysis of Wireless Cooperative Networks with Iterative Incremental Relay Selection
In this paper, an iterative incremental relay selection (IIRS) scheme is considered for wireless cooperative networks in order to increase the reliability of transmission. Different from the conventional incremental relay selection which incrementally selects a best relay for only one iteration; the IIRS scheme iteratively applies the incremental relaying and relay selection processes. To evalu...

In this paper, we explore the impacts of utilizing intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) in a power-splitting based simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (PS-SWIPT) system and compare its performance with the traditional decode and forward relaying system. To analyze a more practical system, it is also assumed that the receiving nodes are subject to decoding cost, and they are on...
متن کاملRelay Pair Selection with Source Precoding in Buffer-Aided Successive Opportunistic Relaying
We study a cooperative network with a buffer-aided multi-antenna source, multiple half-duplex (HD) buffer-aided relays and a single destination. Such a setup could represent a cellular downlink scenario, in which the source can be a more powerful wireless device with a buffer and multiple antennas, while a set of intermediate less powerful devices are used as relays to reach the destination. Th...
متن کاملCooperative Communication with Systematic Raptor Codes in 3 GPP
In this thesis, considering a one-relay cooperative system, we propose a new cooperative transmission scheme which implements the systematic Raptor code standardized in 3GPP. Within the framework of this scheme, we compare the bandwidth efficiency perfomance of different relaying protocols. To improve the performance of this cooperative system, we use ReedSolomon(RS) code as inner code which is...
متن کاملPerformance Analysis of an Adaptive Incremental Cooperative Relaying Scheme for Wireless Relay Networks
In wireless relaying networks, the traditional incremental cooperative relaying scheme (IR) could improve the system throughput enormously over fading channels by exploiting relay nodes to retransmit the source data packet to the destination. In order to enhance the system throughput over time-varying fading channels, this paper proposes an adaptive incremental cooperative relaying scheme (AIR)...
